For some people, the world is their playground. But for some other people, especially Indonesians, the world is their rubbish dump.
One thing they don’t realise is that by throwing rubbish NOT in the bin, it makes them live in a rubbish dump and dragging everyone else along with them.

Jakarta banjir lagi!
Di depan apartemen gw banjir dan actually susah banget untuk keluar rumah. Kalaupun berhasil keluar dari rumah, bisa pulang atau tidaknya itu diragukan. Jadi for the second time this week I called to work saying I can’t make it. Orang-orang administrasi bilang it’s okay kalau gw ngga bisa masuk, wong namanya banjir ya, mau diapain lagi.

what's new?
Hmm… so it’s 2009. Pretty unbelievable. 2008 went by in a flash! So many things happened in 2008.
For one, I got a fresh new start in Jakarta. Got a job I love, fell in love with my kids and loving being loved back. Started running my own business with no clue whatsoever how to, so definitely learning by doing. Got another fun job! I get to be around musicians :P Got my heart back...

This morning I was driving to work when suddenly I heard a little thump from my tyres. Somehow I was quite alerted. Normally I would’ve just ignored that thump but today I felt something was wrong. Well after the scare from the accident has passed, another huge shock came today.. My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s only in the early stages and the doctor said it’s totally curable.. She needs a surgery and 5 weeks of radiotherapy and she will be good to go. I am scared shitless and my whole big family is stressed out.
